Moving to larger premises (now the current site) VJ’s Bakery has over the years, since starting with a workforce of 2, grown dramatically since the early days of the business, and now employs a workforce of 30 people, all of whom are from the local and surrounding communities.

VJ’s Bakery, uses only premium quality ingredients
and where possible, Australian raw materials for the products which are all produced on the premises at the Somerset Bakery.

We are continually seeking to improve our products and introduce on a regular basis, new and exciting products
to our already extensive range. Customer’s feedback is very important to us and it is our customers who quite often request a particular product which we will endeavour to supply.

Christmas each year brings with it of course our famous Plum Puddings which are a much sought after item throughout the state and of course Easter is the time for our delicious Hot Cross Buns.

VJ’s Bakery is, very proudly, a local family owned and operated Bakery, and it is the support given by our valued customers that ensures that the folk of Somerset and surrounding areas will continue to enjoy their very own local fresh produce.

VJ’s Bakery is owned by Garry & Trudi Wolfe who worked in the business for 10 years before purchasing the bakery from Trudi’s parents in 2012.
